Glowing radiantly
Discovering the wreckage of an old WWII American fighter plane.
A beautiful intruder in the Caribbean.
"Ruffles"
A Lettuce Sea Slug on a Rope Sponge.
"Out in the Open"
A Gaudy Clown Crab poses out in the open on a Purple Vase Sponge. Generally I find this guys tucked away into a hole in the coral/sponge, but it is always a treat to find one out and about.

Beautiful colors and separation.
Plants and mangrove, Jade River Playa del carmen
"Curious"
These aren't always the most cooperative subjects. After taking a couple of shots with just the 100mm, I decided to try the +10 Diopter. Luckily this guys was holding his ground and let me get extremely close.
"The Queen"
The colors of the Queen Angel Fish are so vibrant. It isn't very often they will allow you to get close enough for a face on portrait. I think the Turtle eating right beside this one gave it a reason to stick around.
"Wrapped Up"
A tiny Brittle Star tightly wrapped around a Gorgonian.
"Into the Stars"
One of the prettiest eyed fish around.
Fluorescence! This is so exciting! Using Nightsea filters to photograph, I discovered that the eyes of a banded coral shrimp fluoresce a vibrant green. I used a small aperture to focus only on the eyes. The coral it's on also fluoresced.
Whale Shark Reflex, Isla Contoy México
'Velvet Eyes' - eyes of a Velvet shrimp, a nocturnal species, around an inch long with amazing blue eyes. Shot using Oly 60mm & +15 subsee with manual focus for precision.

Roughhead blenny (Acanthemblemaria aspera)
Tiger Shark Nose
Smiling Blenny

"Babylon"
This massive deep sea pinnacle is without a doubt one of the most prestigious dive sites in Cayman. It is situated on the far North East side of the island making it a long way from anywhere. It is always a treat to descend into the depths
"Dancing Turtle"
The Hawksbill literally swam up and stopped right on top of me. It didn't touch me and I didn't touch it, but the encounter will last in my memories and with this photograph.
Whale Shark Hungry, Isla Contoy México
"Grooves"
A Close up of Star Coral.
"Fish in the Flowers"
A Triple Fin Blenny in a very detailed hiding spot.
Spotted Anemone Shrimp - taken by stacking a x2 and a +10 diopter
Illuminating a hawkfish from the outside of a sponge.
The Guardian - a Simon Morris statue standing just off the mini-wall at LightHousePoint in Grand Cayman. Loved how the sun makes a Halo - always guarding for good ....
