How the Contest Works?

Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Comb jelly - psychedelic
Arc. A tiny, stripped juvenile trumpet fish poses for the camera. Shot with a Canon T4i and 100mm f/2.8 macro in an Ikelite Housing with dual DS51 strobes.
Morrison’s dragonet, mating pair Fiji. Synchiropus morrisoni. There were three individuals, two females and the one male found on the sand/gravel at the base of a bommie.

I was swimming along the wall, in the surge when I stopped to look at a seahorse. As I began to take a picture of the seahorse, this little guy swam up and posed for two shots. This was the one I liked best. Very inquisitive little guy.
