HAWKSBILL TURTLE (Eretmochelys Imbriocota)
This species is distinguish by its pointea head, hawk-like beak, and overlapping bony plates on the back.
"Brilliant Blue Sponge". Natural color of sponge at deeper depths of 15 meters, with darker water for contrast. Used Canon A650IS with internal flash.
For the remoras this big manta was a nice place to take a ride to somewhere else.
Runner Up - worthy of note but not a medal winner - an equal 4th place if you like! Runner Up 2009

GREEN TURTLE ( Chelonia Mydas)
The green turtle has a wide, rounded head, non-overlapping bony plates (scutes) on the back and white underside.
