2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

This was a really cool Hawksbill turtle - as big as I have seen. Using a DC600 S-life I snapped 6 photos, and this is the best. I have not retouched it at all as I would probably muck it up! I was within about 2 ft. of this guy (who was easy 2ft long
My two boys headed to the wreck of a tug off of Cayman Brac.
The former Russian missile frigate turned artificial reef is an excellent dive site on Cayman Brac. Hopefully, someday all war ships will be sunk to make artificial reefs. Nikon D200 in Ikelite Housing with 30mm Wide Angle Lens one DS125 Strobe.
I'm not sure why he's pouting, he gets to dive all the time. Nikon D200 with 105 mm Macro lense in an Ikelite housing. DS125 strobes.

Taken at Stingray City. I was photographing the rays, one of the snorkelers from the boat asked me to take his picture. Next thing I knew he was on top of me. Used 15 mm lens on Nikonos V with SB 105 flash. Now just have to email him the picture.
My son has always been a little self conscious about his hair.

Lactophrys triqueter. Smooth Trunkfish (post-larval juvenile). THIS FISH WAS THE SIZE OF A PEA. I was shooting with my 105mm lense, so I couldn't tell underwater if I ever got his face. He's not facing me, but, there's his face!
Coral Banded Cleaner Shrimp floating off the wall. D300, 105mm
Great Barracuda seen at Grand Cayman August 2006. Photo taken with a Canon SD550.
It always happens with lens choice on DSLR, put on a macro and the big stuff arrives... with all the blue from the distance to shoot this Great Barracuda, displaying him in black & white elminates the extremem blue background to see his teeth.
