The Lumpfish or Cyclopterus lumpus. A fish which lack a swimming bubble. Like to sit on rocks, trying mimicing the background. My favourite fish! They are very clumsy colorful and playful.

Tube Worm-Bispira sp. *Sabellidae* It is hard to associate this beautiful flower-like specimen with a worm! I took this picture with a Canon A650IS in macro mode in the location of Badian Island, Cebu.
Commun seahorse (hippocampus taeniopterus); as often these shy creatures turn of their head from the lens!! they're funny though; i love them :-)
Portrait of a little Blackbar Chromis (Chromis retrofasciata) in the South China Sea of the Philippines.
Look closely for the flatworm bout to be eaten... Casio exilim...
It's a Coleman Shrimp. Used 100mm macro on a Canon 450D. I used two Inon strobes on this.
"Who's Posing For Who" I never did get to see the picture that this photographer was taking of my dive buddy & me. Taken with Canon A650IS with just the sunlight making its way down to us around 20 meters close to the Cathedral.
Giant Frog Fish in the bay at Puerto Galera.
"Brilliant Blue Sponge". Natural color of sponge at deeper depths of 15 meters, with darker water for contrast. Used Canon A650IS with internal flash.
Nudi real close. Casio exilim
Close up of a crocodile snake eel on the mythic "Pura Vida House Reef" in Dauin
Razorfish (Aeoliscus strigatus) in Anilao.
This image is not edited in any way what so ever! Casio exilim..
shortlistedShortlisted!
"Christmas Tree Worms". Taken with Canon A650IS in macro mode at Pescador Island.
"Pincushion Starfish"-This was my first view of a starfish without arms. It was located at Pescador Island on a coral reef ridge, about 7 meters in depth. I used my Canon A650IS in ambient light only.
Hanging on the edge.
Puffball Sponge (Oceanapia sagittaria), a small sponge that is normally buried under sand/rubble. The stalk and puffball are sent up periodically for reproduction. The tendrils remind me of synapses in the brain.
Waiting for an anemone fish to stop long enough to pose is quite a challenge. This Tomato Anemonefish stayed closely inside its host anemone, "Entacmaea quadricolor". I took this shot with a Canon A650IS and used its internal flash.
When I saw a group of these, I thought I was going to be a pearl millionaire. But after closely examining it, the first touch was very soft. Not a pearl...but an algae ball. I took this at "Pescador Island" with a Canon A650IS.
Giant Frogfish (Antennarius commersoni) in Anilao. This is the the biggest and best camouflaged frogfish I've ever seen. It was about the size of a football! Look just above the center for the eye.
"Gliding Through The Spectrums of Color" I used my Canon A650IS with the original picture. Then I manipulated the image with posterization in Photoshop.
Portrait of a Scalefin Anthia (Pseudanthias squamipinnis) from Anilao.
A juvenile moray eel, taken last Jan.6 at Samal Island, Dava city. Used a Canon 450D with 100mm macro lens on a Hugyfot housing. I used 2 inon stobes on this, f16 , 1/80sec

Jorunna funebris, D300, 105VR, D-125/D-160, Dumageute, Philippines
"Camoflauged anemone fish,"Amphiprion perideraion." I spent at least 5 minutes maintaining neutral buoyancy waiting for this fish to appear for a picture. The Heteractis magnifica anemone was a great safe camoflauge. Used Canon A650IS & no flash.
