a different over/under Eric
I had a similar entry earlier, but I had a feeling this one had a better DOF and Bokeh, I tried to improved my previous image with advise from friends here and I think I had done a better image. Happy New Year everyone, have a safe and fun diving....
How close is close enough when you are laying next to a scorpion fish? This close.
Tiny Orangutan Crab on Bubble Anemone, Nikonos V 1:2 Macro extension tube, Ikelight 50 strobe. Atlantis resort.
She is under the rather large anemone just hanging out. She kept peeking out to see if I was still there. Later, a juvenile false clown fish came out from behind her to see what was going on. It turned out, she was just protecting her young.

Coleman Shrimp resting on fire urchin. Photo taken from Anilao, Philippines by Canon G9, INON strobe & double macro lens. No cropping.

The contrast of the background was just too cool. The Philippines is home to some really different looking nudibranchs.
A rainbow of color on this Parrotfish. It was just hanging there drifting back and forth on a little coral head. It did not seem to mind that I was there or that I was taking pictures.

Alien?????????

Porcelain crabs are not that big. This little guy was sitting in his anemone having a great time...just fishin'. I love the look on his face. It looks like he is slurping up the plankton he is fishing for.
