Hunting
This image was taken at Devils' Grotto. I had hoped that a tarpon was coming through the hole in the silversides, but I got this Bar Jack instead. I was happy with it anyway.

Color
There is a lot of color on the Orange Canyon dive site, it is just a matter of lighting it to show to best advantage.

I took this at the Stingray City Deep dive site in a group of 15 people. I was lucky in that there was enough current to blow away the worst of the silt they kicked up.

Sailfin Blenny that was living in remnants of a dead sea urchin, when I blew this up, I found what looked like two eggs inside his house.

Stingray in flight
Sexy Shrimp peering out at me, as if to say "Peek a boo!"
It took me quite a few tries to get a good image of this spinyhead blenny.
Juvenile trunkfish. Cute black and yellow marbles almost impossible to get in focus...at least for me.
This shot looks like a satellite orbiting a planet to me. Which is why I left the backscatter in, since it contributed to the feeling.
Christmas Tree Worms are my favorite subject. You have to be very stealthy to get in close to them. This is not cropped with only backscatter removed.

I spent some time waiting for this little speckled eel to come out far enough for a good image.
I was working on trying to make his spots turn into bokeh. Managed it at 5.6
The Final Frontier
Wreck of the Doc Poulson, growth forward of the wheel house.

Tarpon - Devil's Grotto
This Christmas Tree Worm was a rather ugly brownish color when I first spotted it. But, when lit it because this beautiful red/white color and was breathtaking. This is without a dopter.
King of the Mountain
I love social feather dusters and in Roatan, they are brown to yellow. These were the yellow ones. Shooting then in surge is a challenge, but one I love trying to do it.
