Different color sea fans. Taken at a depth of about 40ft on a recent trip to Raja Ampat during Xmas 2024. Taken by a friend using an Olympus OM-D with 2 strobes.

Adult escorts are usually but not always related to the calf. An Aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, or even its mother. They all look after the new one. (taken under permit)

This little fish did not like seeing himself in my lenses. Followed me up to the surface after the dive and kept attacking the lense. Took the shot with the lenses off; Canon G10, Anilao.

This lionfish was pretty funny. I didn't realy want to take his picture but he kept on following my and being pretty protective of his space. He's been around for a while but on this dive he made it real easy to take his portret.
