Caribbean Macro All-Star - the Gaudy Clown Crab
Orange Crush These little soft coral crabs are so good at disguise! I was excited to find one posing on the top of the coral - as if he wanted to be sure to get the cover shot of my next calendar! Oly EM1 12-50mm at 43 Macro +5 diopter 2 strobes

Street Urchin - we saw a few urchins hanging around as we were diving "Giant Clams" in Puerto Galera - and excited to find a Zebra Crab hiding amongst one of the urchin's spines.

The background is natural. The clear tone is given by the water column and the far away rocks. I waited > 10minutes to take this shot as the little fellow was moving between the weed to hunt small crustaceans

A two claw shrimp peers out from a purple vase sponge. This kind of shrimp is a rare find in Cayman! I used a shallow depth of field to focus just on the shrimp's eyes.
