white ornate ghost pipefish. There were two fo them, bright white - unfortunately they didn't want to stay together. The smaller one however positioned itself with a nice negative background

Yellow Margin Trigger Fish. It was in the process of excavating a nest but decided to come and pose for this shot away from the clouds of sand particles. Taken with natural light using a Canon S50 digital camera
Splendid dottyback Pseudochromis splendens are common in Indonesia, very photogenic.
Red speckled or Bi colour parrotfish whilst diving out of Cairns on the great barrier reef. Canon S50 (no flash).

This sandperch had some major difficulties swallowing this filefish. With its file sticking up it just wouldn't go in. The sandperch kept spitting it out hitting it against a rock to try and turn it around. In the end he managed, but it took a while.
