I have a Canon EOS 400D Digital Rebel XTi - with an Ikelite housing for Photos & a Canon Vixia HF11 HD camcorder with Equinox housing for video. I started diving in 2002 & began u/w photography in 2003. My favorite dive sites so far have been in the Seychelles & Australia. Next on my list of dream trips is the Red Sea.

My name is Mike and I would like to share some of my underwater photos with you. I began my diver training in southern California in 1987 with Pacific School of Scuba where i became a NAUI Divmaster. during a dive in 1991 in Truk Lagoon, where i was working as a DM, Jim Church handed me his Nikonos RS and asked me to finish the roll out. That was my first underwater photography experience. Kul!
For me Photography is about perception and light, two things that are in constance change, Remember "don't fear change".

Henry Jager is a passionate underwater and wildlife photographer with an incredible sense for an unexpected view on the subjects. Recently, in 2013, he added experimental photography (high speed, liquid art, drops, underwater painting and more) to his portfolio.
His photographies are appreciated around the globe. Besides two gold medals at the Trierenberger Supercircuit, the world biggest fotosalon and from here at UWP, Henrys pictures have been awarded by National Geographic, Ocean Geographic, The Open, and many more. He has been awarded the "Grand Master” title here at UWP.
Henry publishes in travel and dive magazines as well as on scuba diving related webpages and blogs. He writes about travel destinations, photo courses and special photo techniques. He acts as judge and leads the Deep Visions 2015 Jury

| Christian Loader | I am 26 years old, and from Brighton, England, and have been taking underwater photos for 2 years now. I really got a passion for photography while i was working as a diving instructor in Borneo in 2007.
I am currently using a Nikon D300 with Nexus housing, with Inon Z240 strobes, and underwater i mainly use a Tokina fisheye 10-17mm, and a Nikon 60mm macro.
Most of my earlier entries on this site were taken with an Olympus SP350, Inon D2000 single strobe, and inon fisheye and macro lenses.
I'm currently working as an underwater videographer and photographer for Scubazoo Images in the Maldives - www.scubazoo.com
My favourite area for diving and photography has to be Mabul and Sipadan in Borneo!! Macro + wide-angle heaven!

| Daniel Strub | After having spent a year in the Philippines diving, i took up UW-Photography. I started with a Nikonos-V system, which i took back to the Philippines to catch back the images left behind. Since then, i steped into Digital UW-Photograpy. Yet, i am a beginner, i have lots of fun and could't imagin leaving the camaera behind while diving. Recently i bougth a 7D with a HFC 7D housing. I enjoy great fun :-D | My Website

My work has been published in over 18 magazines in the UK, Netherlands, Costa Rica and Mexico and my course guests have scooped 16 prizes here in the UK and Bonaire. I launched a book called "Underwater Photography for Compact Camera Users" which has just won "Best Publication of the Year" by DIVER Magazine which is now available on Amazon.
I have used all kinds of compact cameras over the past 10 years, Sony, Fuji, Olympus, Sea & Sea, Sealife and have been shooting with a Canon compact for a few years now. At the moment my set up is a Canon S95, FIX housing, INON UFL-165 AD Fisheye Lens, Close-Up Lens and Bug-Eye Lens as well as a L&M Sola 600 Light and INON S-2000 strobe. However, I just prefer using just a simple compact camera in its housing ...
