nice 'under the boat' reef shot Jon
Flamingo Tounge Cowrie on Sea Fan. A static subject, but in reality not as easy at it looks. There was significant surge, but this image provided a strong natural diagonal and great colours for a pleasing overall composition.
"YES, THAT'S MY BUDDY!". Moray awaiting his cleaning.
Night dive shot of a large shrimp. A few inches in length. Haven't seen these before. Their eyes are amazing. (This was before the blood worms started swarming. Yuk!!)
I hate vacation week. It is exhausting when the kids are out of school.
A shot of a Conch's eye taken close in and from sea bed level. It has an almost alien feel.

This was taken on a photo workshop with Dr Alex Mustard, using an off-camera strobe technique to light the diver and inside of the cavern, using only a hint of foreground flash, sufficient to trigger the main lighting.

Yellow stingray. Bloody Bay, Little Cayman
Barrel Sponge and Diver taken off the East end of Grand Cayman. The sponge was almost directly under the dive boat, so it was simply a matter of camping out with the camera set up until a diver dropped into frame; which one duly did.
Sea Fan with lit coral behind
Stingray during sunrise shoot

I really like this because of the colour the small wrasse add to the shot and the trajectory of the shark - as if he is launching himself over the reef.
Fairy Basslet swimming over coral
Intermediate French Angelfish swimming with what I think are grunts.
Peacock flounder blending in with the surroundings.
Diver/Sponge off Cayman Islands
Yellow-headed Jawfish with babies. First one (and maybe last) that I have spotted. Nikon D300, 105mm. See their eyes???
Southern stingray lying in wait.
Sqirrel Fish
Bursting with Color!
Oro Verde Shipwreck. B&W
That's a big fish!
