Silhouette of a friend, Sony, fantastic dive to the Blue Hole with Manta Diving Lanzarote
Lanzarote has great waters for taking pictures of this young pink flabelina, (about 8mm long) clinging to part of the reef, taken on casio z85 with internal flash on soft mode in late afternoon light
Flying into Snell's. My green turtlefriend from El Puertito, Tenerife. Olympus E330, 8mm fisheye, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.

I have put it in the non-swimming because he just lay there posing for me while I snapped away with my camara for 2 minutes. He was a 1.5 meter Angel Shark in only 10meters of water and Picture was taken on a casio z85 with internal flash set on soft

One of the playful octopus on a night dive, Sony
while diving the wrecks outside Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, came across this whale skeleton. It is framed nicely by the coral encruste port-hole
I took this picture around christmas time, and even the reef around Lanzarote seems to festive with decorations too, lol. Hope you like it as much as I did taking it
I like this one simply because everytime I look at it I get reminded of the beauty of the oceans and remember why I like diving. It was taken in only 5m depth and with my casio z85 with the internal flash on soft
Skeleton of a sea urchin at 3m, taken on a Casio Z85 with internal flash on soft
I took this photo of a nudibranch 3 days ago along the Harbour Wall in Lanzarote, it had a perfect location sat on the sea bed, I wanted to fill the shot completely with the nudibranch and get as much detail as possible. I used my Sony-W390
Just showing the image with the diver putting a hand on the turtle belly could give an politically wrong image. We literally had to (gently) push the turtles away from time to time. The turtles didn't seem to mind. El Puertito, Tenerife.
this photo has not been altered, only cropped. It´s a bluefin damsel fish, but if you look at it upside down it looks like a bearded man wearing sunglasses, hope u can see it
After Tramontana ( strong wind from north ) to much reflections to use the strobe. But natural light makes the jelly ( pelagia noctiluca ) not ugly. smile

a non-diver might think this is a giant turtle judging by the diver but we know the scale is misleading due to wide angle lens perspective distortion
Lost in the crowds. Big school of roncadores in Tenerife. Olympus E330, 35mm macro, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.
This ctenophore I've seen today at the north coast from Menorca. Very nice dive.

Green turtle and diver at El Puertito, Tenerife. Probably the friendliest turtles on the planet. Olympus E330, 8mm fisheye, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.
Looks a little bit like Walt Disney's "Pete's Dragon". But it's just a small Flabellina ( Flabellina affinis ) trying to do the first lesson freeclimbing. smile
