Octopus
Sea Butterfly, a pelagic gastropod taken on a blue-water dive in Southern California, with 1,000ft of water below me. Nikon 60mm lens, small dome port.
Multicolor dendronotid (Dendronotus diversicolor). Canon G10.
Very candid photo shot at the moment the diver was reacting to a tap on the shoulder to warn them of the encounter. Notice the direction of the bubbles, truly a horrific surprise at 50 feet safety check!
A smiling Galapagos sea lion in his natural habitat - a park bench. I wanted to give this cute little guy some money, but he'd probably just spend it on alcohol.
Plumose anemones in the "Emerald Sea". Vancouver, BC
Canon 30D in an Ikelite housing with a 15 mm FE and DS-160 strobe.
Colour and life on the Shinkoko Wreck, Truk.
Canon Ixus 100, fisheye lens and single inon d2000 strobe.
Fishermen boat. Canon G10.
It is the simple equipment that can be the most beautiful....
Orange Sea Pen. Canon G10.
Plectorhinchus chaetodonoides, better known as a 'spotted sweetlips' or the Mick Jagger fish, is beloved by all who visit Hastings Reef, GBR, ususally because of his big fat kissable lips! Taken with a cannon G10 and D59 strobe.
"The Mushroom Forest". All it's missing is a gnome.
Hammerhead city, aka Darwin Arch, Galapagos Islands.
Canon Ixus 700, inon wide angle lens and MWB.
Morning sun at Jellyfish Lake, Palau. Such a unique and wonderful place. I tried some unusual shots this time.
Gas masks in the cargo hold of the Fujikawa Maru.
Canon ixus 100, inon fisheye lens and MWB.
The famous "R2D2" in the Fujikawa Maru, Truk Lagoon. (air compressor)

Yes Larissa, but do you also have a shot of C3PO ? :-)
Crinoids at night.
Free diving with mantas scooping up delicious plankton in shallow waters in Fiji (Yasawa islands). Shoot downwards just below the surface while free diving, everything naturally lit by the sun from above. Nikon D300 with 10,5 fish eye, no strobes.
I aproached as possible as I could to get a pic of them on the sand, but as soon as felt my presence they started to move in circles...
Confrontation
This picture was taken with a Sealife DC1000 on August 8, 2010 at sharks cove on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The picture is a of a moorish idol and it is zoomed. I tried to get closer, but the fish swam under the reef.
Look - don't touch
Cuttlefish (Sepia apama); Whyalla, SA, Australia.
I couldn't get these dolphins to swim closer to the island and get the image I wanted, so I shot the dolphins and the background separately and merged them together!
Ex-HMAS Brisbane - an artificial reef, one entry is via this funnel!
Soft corals at night, Truk Lagoon.
