Cloud Sponge and Diver! On a wreck dive we found this cloud sponge on top of one of the antenna masts and with the green backlighting it made for wonderful contrast.

Aliens Everywhere! During the summer we get large congrigations of Moon Jellies. These groupings only last a couple weeks and sometimes we can see thousands during the course of a dive.
Turtle in wreck, La Paz Mexico
A tongue of flame! This Opalescent Nudibranch was just coming up from a 100ft wall climb and paused for a rest before continuing on looking for a mate or meal!
Runaway Red Octopus! This lovely little Pacific Red Octopus had enough of the lime light and decided to speed off. I really enjoy the blurr of following it while swimming. It only went 15-20ft then settled down again!

On a recent dive just off Vancouver Island we ran into a school of 12-15 Spiny Dogfish Sharks. They were standoffish at first then this 5-6 footer swam up for a closer look and I managed to get this close up from only a couple 4-5ft away! Enjoy!

Love this shot!
Dendronotus Albus, a tiny little guy, maybe half an inch long.
Dark water, poor vis, but beautiful metridium and tons of rock fish fry
One of my images from the Monterey Shoot-Out. Only my second dive with my new Tokina 10-17 Fisheye and a dome port.
One of my photos from the Monterey Shoot-Out. I had to photoshop a bit of the snail antenna that was up across the left corner of his mouth, so it was in the unlimited catagory.
Taken in 2007 with the compact camera I had this time. Still a nice example for excellent timing and a lot of good luck - this shark was a little too greedy and couldn´t swallow his portion of the bait.
Viewing outside the Rio de Janeiro Maru in Chuuk.
Great Whale Shark, Galapagos Ecuador
