I took my camera and shoved it right up the jellyfish and pressed the go button. The jellyfish enjoyed it.
There were Forty One squid lined up when I went to this dive site last month, but the water was so cloudy I could not get a decent "group" shot!
Image taken at 20m in Sharm El Naga. Used internal flash on Panasonic Lumix TZ3 - an old compact. Wasn't sure I got the fish in the shot - it was darting up and down the whip coral frantically!
This creature was totally comfortable with my close positioning for the shot, but I felt the strobe may upset it at this close range, so switched it off before shooting. My buddy is in the background having just spotted a second turtle.
Ohhh!!!
Had a brainwave for unique shot of Ghostpipefish when on the surface one evening, all I had to do, was find the fish again, get the camera on sand under it (without it swimming away) and take the shot with the sunburst just at the corner of the frame
Free swimming Spanish Dancer at 20m on house reef at Taba - unusual sight for October.
Under the jetty at Taba, this Crocodilefish looks easy to see, but another photo from a metre away barely shows the fish.
