How the Contest Works?

Underwater Photo Contest | Wide Angle - Close Focus

shots taken with a WIDE ANGLE (or fisheye) lens having 1) a well defined close subject (usually strobe-lit) AND 2) a wide angle BACKGROUND with a second subject, usually a diver

Odd couple. Napoleon fish and my wife on Little Brother, Egypt. Olympus E330, 8mm fisheye, 2 Ikelite DS125 strobes.
"Interaction" - At the end of a long snorcling uw photo session, this lionfish appeared in just 60 cm deep water. 1,5 hours of PS work on this pic since the entire scene was covered with dust & sand particles. I hope, that's the right category ;-)

If you think, uw photography with scuba is difficult : try it with freediving ;-) No air & no time to play around with all possible settings - only one shot and that's it ( and that's how I did it )
