Originally, I only saw the tail of this White Mouth Moray. After finding the business end, I spent a while blinding him with my strobe. Three Tables, Haleiwa, Hawaii
We were watching each other for a while... I could actually watch his eyes follow me around while I was swimming. Stocky Hawkfish, taken at 3 Tables, Haliewa, Hawaii using a single strobe on a Nikon D70 in an Ikelite housing.
I call "him" Leo. He is a Black Volitan Lion fish in my aquarium. Yea, I know, that's not underwater, but it is a great picture. He is about 2-3 years old and almost full grown, about 12 inches long and 15 inches wide with fins.
