Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

My wife had seen this lizzard fish yawn 2 so I waited in front of it for 10 minutes to see if he would repeat the performance - unfortunately not!

A whip coral shrimp taken in Kota Kinabalu. When magnified, through the transparent parts of the shell, there are round things, like eggs??

2 Moray Eels and Company. Another case of being in the right place at the right time. I didn't even know the hermit crab was there until I was preparing photo for printing. Take with Canon 10D, Sigma 60mm macro lens and Sea & Sea strobes
