This was taken in 2007 with a first generation Sealife Reef Master Mini. Since then I have not been this close to an Eagle Ray. This shot inspired me to start shooting underwater and upgrade to what I have now. Canon 5dmkII!!

The Flying Saucer... Frontal portrait of a Giant Manta Ray filter-feeding. These little angels can have a wingspan of more than 7 metres... but they have no sting in the tail and feed exclusively on plankton so they are true gentle giants!

This display features a variety of species in one shot; sea fan with a flamingo tongue attached, brain coral with Christmas tree worms, reef urchin, and elkhorn coral.

My first trip with my Canon 5dmkII 17-40mm. Up close and personal with this very cooperative model!

This is an ALFONSITO. I thought is a good colour contrast with the blue to be take
"Short Tail Weedy Seadragon". This weedy seadragon has had its tail bitten off by something when it was younger but that hasn't stopped it successfully breeding - its eggs have all hatched but you can still see where they were attached.
