Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

Puffer Fish taken off Mackay Reef Quensland. I swam with it for 30 mins to get this shot of the Puffer looking backwards at me along its body. Remarkably the eye is in focus but this is luck not judgement!
These blennies always disappear as soon as you approach, so i was very happy when i finally managed to get close enough for this shot.

Taken with twin strobes in about 10m of water off Mackay Reef, Cairns, Australia. I took about 50 frames to get one with the lighting just like this. Off course Anenome shots are very common but I like to think this one stands out.

"Curious"
The nosestripe clownfish was darting in and out of the anenome so I picked my spot and waited for him to swim into shot.
I used a Nikon F-90X with 105mm Micro Lens in a NX-90 Sea & Sea Housing with twin YS-350 TTL Strobes.
