Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Close encounters of the third kind... Taken on the safety stop after a night dive. Not really fiddled with, apart from removing annoying specks from the background.

Wow, who needs photoshop with fish like these!?
Blue banded goby seeking protection from a sea urchin. Catalina Island, CA. Taken on April Fool's Day.
Neon Gobies share a trait with a cousin called the Sharknose Goby. The name comes from their noses which look like, you guessed it, shark's noses. This shot I think caught that aspect...
Lizard fish that didn´t run away.
Frogfish taken with Olympus Evolt 300 and FL20 strobe.
Community anemone!
Chromodoris bullockis doing what comes naturally!
Close up on part of a school of bait fish off Gozo, using external epoque strobes.
Leaf Fish with Protruding mouth.
We happened upon this leaf fish where we I happened to change over to full manual. When he open his mouth the second time I happened to be focused and ready to take a picture. To my surprise it came out beutifully.
Parrotfish chomping on coral.
Trigger fish, as it came by. Moving cam and delayed flash.
Flying Gurnard Wingspan
