I was recovering from a shooting a whip coral goby in a strenuous position when I saw this interaction just a bit above me. The Angelfish kept returning even when the wrasse was nipping it a bit painfully from time to time.

I love the way that light changes the scene underwater from a drab blue grey to these contrasting bright colours. Horseshoe Hawkfish in coral

Reef Busy-ness
found thsi almost transparent littel fish in the weeds at the end of a dive on Rooneys, Sodwana. I initially thought it was a pipe fish but is was too small to see. Only when processing the pictures, could I see that it was a small trumpetfish.
Shot off Scottburgh in the region of Aliwal Shoal in blue water while diving with ScubaXcursions.
A Dutoiti Dottyback (Pseudochromis dutoiti) . One of the benefits of using a 100mm macro lens instead of the shorter 60mm, one can take shots of the more skittish species too.
