2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Coral Banded Shrimp. I used a Canon G10 with Ikelite housing and Sea & Sea strobe.
The pastel world within... a "rare" (Humann & DeLoach) Ringed Blenny inside a Branching Vase Sponge. Bonaire's Margate Bay, ca. 50 fsw.

Pederson's Cleaner Shrimp - enjoying a spot of lunch - finger licking good...
Wreck Helma Hooker. Used only ambient light.
Hanging upside down without disturbing the sponge and scaring the bejesus outta the peppermint shrimp inside, aiming the Light Cannon to light up the inside through the translucent wall of the sponge ... ahh, the travails of the u/w photographer.
