Thuridilla hopei. Often mistaken for a nudibranch, it is a sacoglossal opisthobranch without dorsal appendages. It can only be spotted with a keen eye, on the rocky seabed a few meters deep. Rarely exceeds 2cm in length.

This is NOT the "Radial Blur" Photoshop filter, this is done "doin' it while shooting it" ! Spinning shots are not so easy, especially not with moving subjects. Well done, Mawi !

I am relatively new to this so here is my first pic! This was shot at Wakatobi, Indonesia, Jan 12 as I started to head toward the surface. No strobes were used.
Scorpion fish shot on a dive trip to Manado. After losing one strobe I only had one strobe to use. System: Canon 50D, 60mm macro lens, Ikelite housing and port, Ikelite DS-125 strobe. Shot at 1/250, f/22, ISO 100.

Bubble Coral Shrimp in an unusual posture, this is the first time when I saw its tail drawn under.

The Flying Saucer... Frontal portrait of a Giant Manta Ray filter-feeding. These little angels can have a wingspan of more than 7 metres... but they have no sting in the tail and feed exclusively on plankton so they are true gentle giants!
