Experimenting with fibre optic snoots I managed to find a grey moray docile enough to allow me to place the snoots on either side of its head, creating this unusual lighting effect as if lighting from the inside out

I think the contrast of the yellowmouth to the brown body with speckled blue markings is extremely striking so it was worth putting time in to get this shot. Taken with Inon Z240 with fiber optic snoots, 60mm macro and a wet close up lens

A tiny juvenile Western clown anemonefish (Amphiprion occellaris) nestles in the safety of the arms of this Bubble-tip anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor) which are deadly to other fish species

A friendly trumpetfish stayed with me for a while. I liked the effect of seeing the background through the eye of the trumpetfish. 60mm macro

Tricky to keep steady enough for these types of shots. Xeno shrimp
The orbicular burrfish seemed very much at home in this old paint can
I particularly liked the colour contrasts of the anemone and waited until the anemonefish dropped into frame
The Giannis D is a great wreck to photograph with its dramatic resting position and relatively shallow water, Tokina 10-17 and magic filter
Male scalefin Anthia. Taken with D300, Nikkor 105 plus 1.4 Teleconverter. I laid on the sand for 30 minutes or so trying to get focus lock on a grouo of Anthias

The Spanish Dancer has to be one of the most thrilling of nudibranchs to encounter. Taken with Nikon 17-55 at 38mm, f18, 1/125

I stayed with this Blacktip grouper for quite a while as he flitted from one coral to another, but eventually it got used to me enough so that I could get close
