Taken with Canon EOS 1Ds wide angle lens. A peaceful moment with two turtles swimming while I was watching the sunset...

I shot this beautiful coral formation for its graphic value on Phi Phi Le island, which was just devastated by the December 26 tsunami. In addition to countless deaths, including three within a friend's family, the sea life must be in shambles!

I was able to swim along this turtle for quite a while while snorkeling on the Big Island of Hawaii at the City of Refuge. This turtle was not shy at all and I got quite a few shots before it swam just above the word aloha inscribed by fellow divers.
