A tiny (2 in., max) blue chromis shot at French Cay in Turks & Caicos. If he only understood that all I wanted was a few photographs he wouldn’t have exhausted himself trying to attack me! Canon Rebel Digital,100mm macro lens,Aquatica A300,Ikelite 125s

Taken with a Canon Rebel Digital in Cozumel, Mexico. I was diving Santa Rosa Wall with my 100mm macro lens. Fortunately, the current gave me a break as I spied this anemone jutting out from the wall and hanging sadly downward.

On a conch-gathering dive near Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, I saw this massive spotted eagle ray nose dive to the ocean floor, scoop up a conch shell, crush it and chow down! Taken with a Ricoh Caplio RR30 in a Sea & Sea housing. Ambient light.

Can't you just hear the lovely sound of these caribbean windchimes in the warm, salty Cozumel breeze? I shot this photo on our surface interval at Palancar Beach.

I camped out near this turtle's resting place. We observed each other for 10 minutes before he came out and gave me some incredible photo ops. Canon EOS Rebel Digital/Ikelite housing/17mm wide angle lens/dual DS125s

Eye of a sleeping parrot fish. I was only inches away from this eye on a night dive in the Turks & Caicos and he never moved. Taken with a lot of patience and an EOS Digital/Aquatica/100mm macro/dual Ikelite DS125s

Attached to the ladder of the T&C Aggressor with my foot while taking shots of this Reef Shark just below the surface. He was incredibly curious as to what I was all about. The feeling was mutual! Rebel Digital/Aquatica/17mm/ambient light
Kinda reminds me of a puppy coming back for more treats! Taken at the surface in the Turks & Caicos while I held onto the ladder of the boat (T&C Aggressor) with my foot. Canon Rebel Digital/Aquatica/17mm lens/ambient light.
Nature's tapestry! Skin and tentacles of an octopus shot on a dive in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Canon EOS Rebel Digital / Aquatica / 100mm macro lens / Dual DS125 strobes / lots of patience!!!

"Blow hole" on Cozumel's Punta Sur (south point). Notice how the dancing water seems to stand still in mid-air! Taken with EOS Rebel Digital.
This squid in French Cay (TCI), amazingly, allowed me to hang out for 20 minutes! His color changed everytime I fired the strobes. I'm not sure, but I think he found me more interesting! Taken with EOS Rebel Digital/Aquatica/100mm macro/dual DS125s
Spotted Eagle Ray on takeoff! This awesome creature was completely buried in the sandy bottom of Eagle Pass (Cozumel) when he suddenly blasted up and gracefully "flew" away! (Notice the sand falling off his back.)Canon Rebel Digital in an Aquatica A300
