Cenote light. A great add on to an Isle Mujeres Whaleshark trip are the Cenotes. Since no strobes are allowed with the Whalesharks I left them home and shot natural light in the Cenotes with a high ISO (1600) and a fast wide lens.

Colored up Croc no crop
Carousel of Clowns. Dragging the shutter at 1/15th second during a spin blurs the natural light. The flash freezes the action up close,. the middle ground ghosts with some motion blur.

8mm no crop. Flathead Crocodilefish color up when they lay on plants and corals, on sand and rock they go to white and black. Finding one perched up high was a lucky treat. 5D Mark2 in Ikelite housing

So I Mounted my housing on a pole, connected it to Camranger, cut a hole in the ice, sunk the thing. An iPad will then control all camera functions 150' away.. (warm and dry) Live view works, so you just shoot when you like the scene :-) fun!

Beautiful capture of one of the most unique eyes in nature.
Dolphin rush. They always look slow and easy in still images, but its more like having cars fly by you in the water.
Light isn't always color.. even at these distances a strobe can light a white belly, but the color never makes it back to the camera
Classic form, get close- shoot up.

Muscles... so fast.

Natural shot except for the moon of course :-)
a 4 ft. dome and willingness to get in at night with whitetips would be necessary for this perspective.. I don't have either :-) just photoshop on a rainy day
