Gentle Giant! They hadn't had a Manta Ray in the double lagoon for 15years and we had the privledge to swim with this one (our first on ever) for 5 minutes before it flew off into the blue. Canon T2I in Aquatica with Tokina 10-17mm and twin strobes.

On a recent dive just off Vancouver Island we ran into a school of 12-15 Spiny Dogfish Sharks. They were standoffish at first then this 5-6 footer swam up for a closer look and I managed to get this close up from only a couple 4-5ft away! Enjoy!

Twin Rocks is famous for its jacks but these smaller fish schooled together to look like a huge fish I had to take the picture. The pinnacle, fish and sun made for a great photo.

This 3 cm baby flying fish was caught just away from a small raft of sea weed and the riot of colors shape was to much to let pass by. Enjoy!

What a Beard! On a dive in the Philippines we found an amazing pipefish and it held still long enough to get this Bokeh shot of the amazing mouth and beard! Shot with a Canon T2i with 100mm macro lens!
Black Eyes a peepin.Pagurus armatus taken with Canon T2i in an Aquatica housing with 100mm macro and twin 110 Alpha strobes.
All aglow in a bottle!
Miamira alleni with all its beauty nothing else is needed!
Mosshead Warbonnet! With such a smile this tiny fish was almost glowing on the reef at 60 ft.
A Rose in the Emerald Sea! With the green sea above the life below in the cold water shines with flamboyant colors!
Strawberries all a glow! The Strawberry Anemone was in a field of them that gives an amazing bright pink field. With a plus 10 diopter and 100 macro you get to see the delicate fingers of this amazing creature!
An amazing creature the Harlequin Shrimp is a riot of color and contours!
A Beautiful Boxer! Taken with a 100mm macro and +5 diopter on a black back drop.
When cruising over an algae growth in secret bay this Bobtail Squid was a very pale color hiding above the bottom and changed color to this vivid array!
Sometimes at the end of a dive you just have to look up! Finishing with the Thresher Sharks of Malapasqua we started our assent back to the surface and the life above water!
Sometimes a algae growth means for better backgrounds as was the case with this hunting Flamboyant Cuttlefish. Taken with an 100mm macro in a Aquatica housing and Canon T2i.
All about trust!
Three directions of Lemons! Sometimes the levels in the water really show when you have sharks coming from every side!
Alien in Red and Gold! With a prawn on the hunt in the nite the refraction and light coming off them from side and front lighting is amazing!
Decorated for War! A Decorated Warbonnet hunting in the night pauses while a Broke Back Shrimp crawls on its back!
An Eye on you! The spectacular morphing, colour changing and intelligent eye of a Giant Pacific Octopus. This medium sized specimen (8-10 tip to arm tip) was out hunting and allowed us to sneak in with 100 macro and +10 diopter!
Delicate as a fan! Posing for a mate this uniquely colored Sailfin Sculpin was all spread out like a fine Japanese fan.
"Surfacing!" It is always advised to look up before you head back to the boat. On a dive at Tiger Beach this takes a completely different meaning! Canon T2i in an Aquatica housing and twin Sea and Sea 110a Strobes using a Tokina 10-17 fisheye t 10mm.

All a Glow! The luminescence of a Cup Coral! With darkness beyond and the right light these tiny creatures can be stunning! Canon 100mm macro with +5 diopter in an Aquatica housing with twin Sea and Sea 110a strobes.
A bright jewel in the deep! A diver floats thru the cold emerald seas looking far down onto the beauty of the deep!

Dancer in the blue! A small fried egg jelly in the shallows swims thru the clear summer shallows!
A little scratch! These sea lions liked to rub up against you and would even mouth you gently!
On the Hook! This young Stellar Sea lion had the unfortunate time of getting hooked on a long line. It will hopefully rust thru and will heal in time. Remember what we do effects the large and small everywhere!
