"Enlightening Experiences"
Magical moments experiencing nature.
"Incoming"
A large Hawksbill Turtle swims through the blue.

A massive Loggerhead enjoying some lunch.

A very small Green Sea Turtle swimming and looking for turtle grass just off Seven Mile Beach.

Getting images of Turtles on or near the surface takes respect. You respect the animal and earn its trust and in turn it will be reciprocated with awesome encounters and images to save the memory.

Loggerhead chowing down. An incredible experience sitting inches away from this guy for about 20 minutes while he finished off his meal.

The Kittiwake, a playground for divers and fish alike.

Diving the Kittiwake first thing in the morning is always a treat. Beat the crowds, the Jacks are cruising and the light is beautiful.

A Green Turtle surfaces for a breather in the early morning light.

I have been trying to have a day a week were a shoot "Bare Neccesities" this of course is just a fancy phrase for natural light, but it has been awesome to free up the mind with flash settings once in awhile and focus on comp...

Nothing like a game of tag with some friendly Spotted Eagle Rays.
"Pretty Shell"
A beautiful Green Sea Turtle cruises the turtle grass fields just off of Spotts Beach, Grand Cayman.
"Sandy and the Jacks"
Large Southern Stingray along the sandy bottom of Stingray City dive site accompanied by some fish back up.

A Hawksbill Turtle starts a breath up to prepare for the next dive.

A Hawksbill Turtle decends towards the reef.
"The Furnace"
Deep in the decks of the Kittiwake I found this object that I thought to be a stove. To create this glow, I detached my focus light and gently placed it inside.

A large Hawksbill Turtle extends his fins way out to create as much momentum for his dive as possible.

A Spotted Eagle Ray propels itself up and over a coral head stirring up sand with its momentum.

A pair of Slender File Fish caught together.

After a small breath up on the surface this Hawksbill is ready to dive.

Horse-eyed Jacks crusiing past the Kittiwake.

The Silversides have been sporadic so far this year, but it never fails Tarpon are the first to know about it.

A diver illuminates an eel with his torch.
"Ray Under Rays"
Since the Ray's are so used to snorkelers and divers, they have enough trust to make overhead passes like these, making for interesting angles and of course sun rays.
