March is the favourite time for searching in the german lakes, here the Bodensee, for snails as it's the time for mating. The shot was done with a little help of a tube and some extra background underwater.
The attractive feather duster worm’s head is modified into two large spiral whorls. It extends from a white cemented tube and is used for feeding from suspended particles in the water.
