2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

These 'glass' sponges are the sight to be seen when you are deep at Mermaid Bay along the Sunshine Coast. In vertually every one you will find another critter making it's home. This is a Goblet Sponge picture taken with a Bonica camera and strobe.
Blood stars are often in unique positions. This one looked to me as though he was saying 'I give up! Don't shoot!' to the Northern Feather Duster Worm in the forground. This picture was taken with a Bonica camera & strobe in the Port Hardy area of BC
I noticed the huge orange peal nudibranch at first and was going to show it's size in comparison to my husband's flipper when I noticed the small nudibranch it was motoring towards. I loved how this picture showed the two extremes of these animals.
This is a close up of a Stripped Sunstar at 7 Tree Isl. out of Port Hardy BC. I use a Bonica camera and slave strobe. I love the complimentary colors of these stars.
