2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

A blenny looks out of its burrow suspiciously. Note the fleshy branching appendages (named cirri) found above their eyes and nostrils. The biological role of cirri remains unclear but make them very nice!

This is small Hermit crab having very pretty colors on its body. It lives between the surface up to 70 meters deep. Its shell is a matter of survival, to protect its soft abdomen. I took this photo in the sea of Goa_2023
