Giant Kelpfish, taken while freediving at 15' at Casino Point at Catalina Island on January 9, 2012. I watched this fish spawn with a Painted Greenling for about 20 minutes and took some video too.
The other fish that has as much presence as the sharks at Tiger Beach...The YellowTail Snapper.Lots of them swim around our submerged bait crates.
Same leafy seadragon but up close - these guys are amazing animals and so photogenic! Sorry had uploaded the wrong photo - this was the one I meant to post (i.e. not cut off)...
