2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

even without a diver for interest it's a magical landscape (note I don't say seascape because it's freshwater!)
“Zigounette”. We sunk the small boat and it landed prow up on the sandy bottom in 20m of water. We named it after seeing its image on the sonar.

A large pike, maybe around 1,3 to 1,5m.
This curious little pearch observes its own reflection on the domeport, at least, that's what i think when i see the look in her eyes...
