2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Merry Christmas!
Blast off. Dolphin always look cute and cuddly in pictures. Swimming with them they convey pure power, and the intelligence to know they needn't fear anything in the Ocean. I wonder why they are friendly to humans.-we've never done anything for them

Sail Rock, Thailand
Tarpon in the Sun - we were diving Macabuca or Turtle Reef in Grand Cayman. I waited under the out-cropping to get a pic of the tarpon. Edited color to show how I envisioned he would look as the sun set over West Bay.
"The Ambassador" Sea snakes are similar to divers, they rise to the surface and go below back to the reefs. As divers we have to be ambassadors for the ocean, spread awareness and inform everyone about the oceans. This image symbolizes that.

Wonderful message and impressive work! We don't get many surrealistic entries and this one definitely deserves the nomination as Runner Up.
Bubble taken with canon s120
Sea Serpent - we had a very close encounter with this banded sea krait - it was not afraid of us as it searched for a meal. Such a great moment - and grateful to get a shot as he swam past. Cropped and brightened with photoshop.
A watering bowl at a dog park was the only water I could find in Over The Rhine for the 2016 Fotofocus exhibition- "Alice in OTR- visions of the fantastical" was the theme for a group of photographers shooting the historic district in Cincinnati Ohio

Very unique image, it looks like out of a fairytale. Wonderful composition and great job on the post-processing.
If you try to line up the sun with the boat, make sure it hasn't come untied from the mooring or you might find yourself far from where you thought you were

Was it Jaws 3 or 4 where it ate the Helicopter? I layered this mainly because with refraction at the waterline the body didn't line up nicely, but a little Gin made the drone sound fun. The untouched version is in the over/under category..

Beautifully composed and elegantly edited. Most romantic shark photo I've ever seen!
Octoporn. I would have preferred a different category for this image, but these mating Octopus blend into the reef and rock so well that the image is too busy. I used brushes to try and obliterate the rocks and release the Octopus from them..
