Different color sea fans. Taken at a depth of about 40ft on a recent trip to Raja Ampat during Xmas 2024. Taken by a friend using an Olympus OM-D with 2 strobes.

The colors of many Chromodorididae nudis are always striking and these species of Goniobranchus called kuniei is no exception.There are delicate nuances of complementary shades that help make it one of a kind_Jan 2025

Adult escorts are usually but not always related to the calf. An Aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, or even its mother. They all look after the new one. (taken under permit)

Squid taken during a nightdive at Siau (Sangie Islands Northeast of Sulawesi) During my 6 shots it constantly changed coulrs and patterns. Manual Focus was needed. Used my 105mm f.36 at 1/100 and DS125 in 1/4

"Comet" this rarely seen fish is unique with the white ringed black spot on dorsal fin. Solitary and cryptic, they hide in crevices on outer reefs. This one shot out of his hiding place and I only got part of him in the frame before he vanished

Jewel Grouper (Cephalopholis miniata) on the USAT Liberty Wreck in Tulamben, Bali. This U.S. warship was torpedoed in WWII and is now an incredible artificial reef, housing not only coral, but hundreds of species of fish. G9/DS160s.
