During the safety stop after a dive in Cano Island, picture taken from above
Hawaiian Sea turtle scratching an itch however it looks like he is shielding his eyes from the sun. Taken on a georgous day early in the morning in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. No strobes or flashes used.

Gentle Awakening, Kailua Kona, HI, leaving the Honokohau Harbor at dawn for a dolphin and whale adventure. The sun was just beginning to rise above Mauna Hualalai.
It's a good idea to look above you on occasion when you dive. You never know what may be lurking in the shadows.

Kailua Kona, Hawaii, cropped, This guy (or gal) along with some of his buddies hung out with me for about 45 min one morning.
This guy had to work to get hiself into this position.
Time to Molt?
Leaf Scorpionfish -Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Saw him thru hole on top of a coral head sitting on the ocean floor. Stretched my arm & camera in to catch a few shots. Kept reviewing photos & made adjustments-couldn't see the Screen LCD.
