The rare Muscat well-builder. After the cyclone that hit the East Coast of the UAE and Oman in June '07 we were worried that they had disappeared, but they have been sighted again in recent months.

This green eyed hawkfish found a great spot to watch the world. I took the strobe off the housing and placed it in the sand to achieve the back/side lighting, pointing at the spot the fish kept coming back to. This was its 'porch'
