Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
spiral tube worm; the challange is - at least to me - to take the picture before these guys go back into their tubes.... and i needed a couple of trys :-o

a central subject - but it works
Elysia pratensis from the Cayman Islands. These little sea slugs are very rare in the Caribbean, so I was really lucky to spot this one.
