During a night dive in Lembeh Straits I came upon this cowfish.
A Hermit Crab taken during a shore dive in Cozumel. Stunning subject. Set the strobe on it's lowest setting and underexposed the subject by almost 2 stops.

Anacapa Island, CA. Harbor seals lined the kelp for each of the four December dives, and this one kept a wary eye on us from behind. I like how portrait-like his expression is, even a bit sad...it adds to the distance of the 3/4 shot.

Whale Shark - Maldives. D100 - Tried to see a different angle than the usual "portrait with mouth open" pic. Had lots of fun with the creature which stayed with us for an hour.

As I swam past this coral head in Cozumel, I didn't realize how much color was there until after capturing the image. Then I saw on my digital camera screen the full spectrum of intense colors the strobe popped out,
Hawksbill.
Photograph taken during a dive in French Cay,Turks & Caicos Islands.This beautifull hawksbill turtle was just swimming over the edge of the reef,I had the luck to have his company for more than ten minutes.

here's how you shoot a jelly without the sun behind. Note the small fish in the tentacles.
I photographed this shark in Bora Bora in May 2004 with a digital Olympus 4040 in a Tetra housing. A DX90 strobe gave the bit of lighting on his face.
D-70 wih two strobes. On a shark feed dive in Fiji, this guy showed up on the way to the surface. Swam right in front of me and looked great.
Lionfish taken at Beqa Lagoon, Fiji. D-70 in Ikelite housing, two stobes with diffuser on 2nd strobe. It posed very nicely for me.

Unbelievable dive site ,you can't imagine what else was circling around us while i took this picture.
Attached to the ladder of the T&C Aggressor with my foot while taking shots of this Reef Shark just below the surface. He was incredibly curious as to what I was all about. The feeling was mutual! Rebel Digital/Aquatica/17mm/ambient light
This Mola Mola was quitely sunbathing near the reef walls on Crystal Bay in Bali, it only gives me a few seconds to take the photo before she noticed my presence and swim out to the open sea
