At about 140 feet, a diver hovers above the prop of the Sonja Maersk which was lost during WWII near Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Nikonos V, Sea&Sea 12mm, single Ikelite 150 strobe and 1600 ASA B&W film.

How to photograph the most photographed wreck in the World, Thistlegorm, I thought - and almost dug myself into the bottom under the stern to get a tall perspective. 16mm, Minolta 700si in Seacam housing. No strobe. Agfa Scala b/w slide film.
Looking from Hold 1 into Hold 2 SS Thistlegorm....was going to post the famous ladder in the Rope Locker under the bow that everyone takes......but no not this time!
The wreck of Umbria lies in 0-90 feet of water, just outside the harbour in Port Sudan. The ship is leaned against the reef at a 45 degree angle. It was sunk by its own crew in 1940 to prevent its cargo of war materials to fall into allied hands.

Wreck of Russian freighter, Kolkhosnik, sunk 1942 with war supplies off Halifax, N.S. Canada. Nikonos V, single Ikelite 150 and Fuji 800 ASA film. Sitting upright at 150 feet, the wreck was partially salvaged for its cargo of ingots.
Roatan - shore dive from Fantasy Island. Nikon F80 w/16mm fisheye. Vis was poor, so I converted to grayscale in Photoshop for a better look
