I can't really say much about this location for I have only dove here once. I can say, however, that you really need to be physically fit and have absolutely no problem with having to suit up at the top of the hill (which is where you park you car) and walk down (with all your gear on) either the paved service road (which is really long and steep), or the stairs that are directly next to the service road (which are the same steepness and length as the service road) to reach the beach. This is really the only way to access the beach by foot. At the end of the service road/stairs, there are well kept mens/womens bathrooms and external showers (one for your whole body, and two for your feet). The showers are quite convenient because you can rinse off all the sand you picked up from getting out of the water and you can give a light rinse to your gear. I give it 4/5 stars. Would be 5/5 if there were an escalator :) On a good day, the viz would be about 20 feet. However, when a storm is on the way, expect 60+!

Austin RiceThis is a sunburst shot that I have appropriately named "Heartburst". This image has not been manipulated in any way by any program. I shot it Thanksgiving morning in Laguna Beach, CA with only my Olympus Stylus 770 in a PT-035 housing.

Austin RiceI have not named this photo yet. This was taken with only my Olympus Stylus 770 and PT-035 housing. The visibility that day (Thanksgiving) was around 60 feet. That is pretty good for Crescent Bay, Laguna Beach, CA :)
