Up close to a spotty dotty Seastar

It was towards the end of a dive, when this tiger shark emerged from the blue and swam straight through our group totally unphased. For me, this depicts ocean connectivity through immersing in a deep blue bond. Taken in Fuvahmulah, Maldives.

The tiger and the reef fish look like they are about to square off. I love marine predators and my wife and I were able to see this sigh and be lucky enough to capture this image.

We can live together in harmony. Nebrius ferrugineus (tawny nurse shark) joining the current. Later on 3 came relaxing in the sand right behind and beside us while we hung on to our reef hooks. (f/11, 1/60, ISO-200, 14mm). - Els

We all hate backscatter, but sometimes it adds mystery to a picture. The tiger shark in the background seems to be trying to hide behind the backscatter to ambush the bluefin trevally. Without the backscatter it would look less menacing. - Erik
