2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

A photo of the unique and barely explored reefs of Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay. These reefs are a collision between sponge and kelp.

Mimic filefish. Often confused with black-saddled tobies (with good reason, that is what they mimic....). Great Barrier Reef.

Electric clam. Sometimes called fire clam. This clam "pulses" with a phosphoresence that looks just like a blue electric arc moving through it. This image caught the bluish-white pulse near the center. Barrier Reef.

Cold , nutrient rich water captivates me far more then any coral reef. The swaying motion of kelp in surge keeps me coming back again and again.
