Different color sea fans. Taken at a depth of about 40ft on a recent trip to Raja Ampat during Xmas 2024. Taken by a friend using an Olympus OM-D with 2 strobes.

The colors of many Chromodorididae nudis are always striking and these species of Goniobranchus called kuniei is no exception.There are delicate nuances of complementary shades that help make it one of a kind_Jan 2025

Adult escorts are usually but not always related to the calf. An Aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, or even its mother. They all look after the new one. (taken under permit)

That's no special critter, that's just a leaf...drifting in open water during my last nightdive. Loved the structures and found it worth a shot ;-) CANON 40D, 60mm makro lens, F20, 1/160 sc., ISO 200, 2x Sea&Sea 110@ strobe (manuelly set to 50%)
"Dancing Queen". Free swimming Flat-Worm at night. 60mm makro lens with +4 diopter attached.

Engine Telegraph of the TC SG 119 shipwreck in Kas/Turkey. Build in 1959, on duty from 1960 to 2010. Dropped to be a new dive destination on June 25th 2011. Last order as shown on photo was "engine stop" ;-)
"Squid Alarm !!" While my buddy tries to capture a shot of this juvenile squid group with her compact camera, I took this photo of her & the baby squids last night. Please note, that the middle squid is just having a small snack ;-)
