2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

This was my first encounter with an eel pipefish and probably one of the hardest critters I've ever tried to photograph. I sweated underwater!!

Longnose hawkfish, at about 95 feet , it did take a lot of patience and a lot of Nitrox as well . Canon S70 with Macro Lens
There were two hawk-fish flitting around the black coral but only one of them settled down enough for me to take the shot after 15 mintues or so
