Most unusual behavior
Maui, HI image was taken on a night dive
Strong current dive, but our litle friend really likes the spotlight and wanted to say hello!!
Eye of the Slug. I was very excited to find a couple of these Lumpy Sea Slugs on Oahu's North Shore.
This Catalina Wreck ex WW II, is located in Biak, Papua - Indonesia.
Racoon butterlies swarm the rocks for food.
Mark + a wild bottlenose dolphin. He took us down to 130 from where we met him an his school at 20 feet. Lots of fun, especially with no time in the chamber =)
'A GOOD DAY FOR FISHING' While not necessarily 'marine related' - nice inland water. NW British Columbia, Tweedsmuir Provincial Park - early morning on Crazy Bear Lake. D100; 18-80 Vivitar lens. Enjoy!
Originally, I only saw the tail of this White Mouth Moray. After finding the business end, I spent a while blinding him with my strobe. Three Tables, Haleiwa, Hawaii
We were watching each other for a while... I could actually watch his eyes follow me around while I was swimming. Stocky Hawkfish, taken at 3 Tables, Haliewa, Hawaii using a single strobe on a Nikon D70 in an Ikelite housing.
I call "him" Leo. He is a Black Volitan Lion fish in my aquarium. Yea, I know, that's not underwater, but it is a great picture. He is about 2-3 years old and almost full grown, about 12 inches long and 15 inches wide with fins.
Distracted. The DM on this dive was shooting video for the boat guests.
D2x 15mm FE
'SOFT CORAL BRIDGE' Turtle Cove, Palau. Soft coral colonies growing on a sponge encrusted old anchor chain spanning two coral heads. Housed Nikon F; Niko Mar III housing; 24mm Nikkor lens. Enjoy!
School of fish hovering around small wreck.
Don't be Coi.
Close-up of a small Green Moray that was swimming around looking for a hole to hide in. This shot was taken with a Canon A620, no strobe, and at Port stephens, NSW.
Angry Octopus. Shot taken on the East side of Oahu, HI.
