2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

This is one of my favourite shots to date... We were having a show put on for us by 2 big Mantas and this opportunity presented itself... I couldn't believe how epic this Manta appeared once I reviewed the shot...

F 8, 1/500 internal flash - even in day time with plenty of sunlight (snorkeling!) you can get "nightdive" results ;-)
